More and more polls are coming in for house races not previously polled, and the news gets better and better for Republicans. An update on my model detailed in the post below now has the Republicans winning a net of 70 seats. This would make the shift the largest in...wait for it...116 years.
This would certainly be one of the loudest public repudiations of a president and his policies in our nation's history and many Republicans assume it will cause Obama to tack to the center. Wrong. He only moved harder to the left after the elections in Virginia, New Jersey, and Massachusetts, ALL of which were framed as referendums on his presidency.
